Omidia Finish

Every photo, fully finished — included on every shoot, never an add-on.

Most studios treat retouching as a line item and charge for it by the image. We treat it as the job. There is no version of an Omidia shoot that arrives unfinished, and there is no box to tick to get it.

Amenity poolThe window wall was blown out to white. Pulled back so the trees outside read, and the water and cedar ceiling get their colour back.
Living roomA warm cast had settled over the ceiling and walls, flattening the whole room. Neutralised so the whites read white, with the room and the view out to the mountains both lifted to true.
KitchenWarm cast neutralised and the view out the window recovered, so the counters read white instead of yellow.
NurseryPink walls were bouncing colour onto a white ceiling. Corrected, opened up, and the bags and stroller cleared out.
EnsuiteThe heaviest colour cast in the set — deep yellow from the wall lights. Neutralised, and the toiletries taken off the counter.
Laundry roomMixed lighting had turned the whole room orange. Corrected to neutral, and the clutter taken out.
BedroomShot dark against a bright window. Exposure brought up and evened out, and the coat on the door removed.
Attic bedroomHard afternoon sun across the floor, tamed so the boards and the walls both hold detail, and the bedding tidied.
ShowerWarm cast cleared so the tile reads its actual colour, and the bottles cleared off the ledge.
BathroomOpened up, verticals straightened, and the bath mats and counter clutter taken out.
BedroomDim, warm light evened out across the room so the walls read white rather than amber.
BathroomFlat, hazy light opened up, and the contrast recovered without blowing out the window.

Every photo, or it does not count

A listing where three photos are warm and the rest are cool reads as careless, however good any single frame is. Buyers scroll a set, not a photo. So the whole shoot is graded together and finished together — the twenty-fifth photo gets the same pass as the first.

How it is done

Every shoot runs through the same pipeline: bracketed frames blended for exposure, lens and perspective corrected, the set graded together so no two rooms disagree. Parts of that pass are AI-assisted. None of it ships without a person looking at every frame first.

The line is the space versus the things in it. Finishing never alters the space — walls, windows, floors, fixtures, the room’s size and condition, and the view out the window are exactly as they were. Altering any of that would misrepresent the property. What it does clean up is movable things: clutter, cords, and everyday items left out.

Common questions

What is Omidia Finish?

Omidia Finish is the full professional finishing pass every Capture photo goes through before it reaches you — colour and white balance, exposure and HDR blending, window pull, reflection and clutter cleanup, lens correction, and a consistent grade across the whole set. Many studios bill this per image. It is included on every Omidia shoot.

Does Omidia Finish cost extra?

No. It is included on every shoot and is never billed as an add-on. There is no version of an Omidia shoot that arrives unfinished.

Is every photo finished, or just a selection?

Every photo in the set. Consistency across the full set is the point — a listing where three photos are warm and the rest are cool reads as sloppy no matter how good any single frame is.

Does Omidia Finish change the property itself?

No, and that line matters. The space is never altered: walls, windows, floors, fixtures, the size and condition of the room, and the view out the window are exactly as they were on the day. Changing any of that would misrepresent the property. What does get cleaned up is the movable stuff — clutter on a counter, cords, a coat on a door, items left out. Decor and belongings, not the home.

Is Omidia Finish the same as virtual staging?

No. Virtual staging adds furniture that was never in the room, and it is a separate paid service under Transform. Omidia Finish leaves the space alone — what it tidies is the movable clutter that happened to be out on the day.
